Our mission is to share the wisdom of plant medicine and natural healing to enhance your quality of life. We do so by offering a dynamic and ever-evolving collection of mindfulness tools, aromatherapy blends, and radiant gemstones.
By visiting our online shop and following along on instagram, you will also see a variety of handmade and consciously-sourced objects including pottery and natural tie-dye creations made by Aly.
Each product is mindfully crafted to achieve the highest quality and energetic potency. Then infused with sacred full moonlight and healing Reiki energy.
We are based in coastal Connecticut and operate our business completely online, selling directly via our website, Etsy, and wholesale platforms to many retailers in the USA, Canada, and Europe.

Aly Crouse is a multifaceted artist and healer with a deep love for the natural world and the wisdom of ancient practices. In addition to Open Heart Apothecary, she also runs Earthworks Studio, where she offers in-person and virtual sessions in Craniosacral Therapy, Reiki, Yoga, and Astrology.
Interested in natural medicine, naturopathy, and herbalism from an early age, Aly has studied many healing modalities. In 2012, as a busy massage therapist seeking complimentary add-ons for her clients, she undertook an Aromatherapist Certification program with the School for Aromatic Studies. She began making essential oil blends for her clients and conducted many case studies. This is when Open Heart Apothecary was born - Aly started to make easy-to-use roll on and sprays that are both deliciously fragrant and deeply nourishing. Each oil is blended with her hands in small batches using a synergy of high quality therapeutic-grade oils and Reiki energy to harmonize the mind, body, and spirit.
The crystal part of her business came soon afterwards. As a child of jewelers who had their own gallery in the Rocky Mountains, Aly was attracted to the beauty and diversity of crystals and gemstones at an early age. She learned young how to identify different minerals. Later, she began to learn about the innate healing properties of stones, and began charging them by the light of the full moon to amplify their energy. Each mineral has its own energetic frequency and Aly has a special eye for choosing the stones for their radiance and purity.
